We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager based in Westcoast US to help us expand our US market. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective business development strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and participate conferences to identify new markets and customer needs
Identifying sales and services that would appeal to new clients
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Liaise with scientists to prepare study product contracts
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-service support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements
Proven working experience in CRO, Pharmaceuticals or biotech
Goal-oriented, organized team player
Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Self-motivated and self-directed
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Agile CRM)
Market knowledge
Excellent verbal, written communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time management and planning skills
BSc/BA or above in biology or relevant field
